From an idea, a place called Ugo.

Ugo was born from the encounter between Francesco and Valeria — two people united by the desire to create an authentic place, able to tell the story of Milan through hospitality, taste and atmosphere.
From their vision came a space that reflects their personality: elegant yet informal, refined in every detail, and as vibrant as the Navigli that surround it.
Ugo is the result of a shared dream and a journey built with passion, where every choice — from the service to the ambience — is designed to make each guest feel part of a story.

This was the best aperitivo I had in a month in Italy.
We randomly walked by it as we were exploring the canals and the packed patio told us it was a must try!

Step back in time at Ugo, a speakeasy-style cocktail bar nestled deep in the heart of Navigli. Faux taxidermy deer heads, antique tennis racquets and oil paintings on floral wallpaper are illuminated by the beautiful standing lamps and candelabras dotted throughout the interior. The cocktails are as delicious as they are imaginative, with creations like the Trique (made from vodka, white vermouth, celery, green apple, lime and liquorice) attracting large crowds every night.

Staff were excellent despite being super busy. The drink were exceptional and we loved the clever menu. Also appreciated the apertivo spread was a bit creative but not too heavy. Well done UGO!

Drink ottimi, servizio eccellente e disponibile, abbiamo assaggiato anche due piattini da condividere (crocchette di melanzane e cotolette di cavolfiore) che consiglio assolutamente! torneremo sicuro 🤍
